Injection Molding Animation Series

Part of Your Interactive Training Program

he Polymer Training Resources Animation Series enables your workers to visualize and understand what's actually happening inside the machine. The animation gives a detailed, close up view of each part of the process, so that your workers can fully comprehend one section at a time. Only when your workers understand everything that's happening inside the machine, will they be able to make the smartest decisions about controlling the process.

That means higher quality parts, less equipment damage and greater productivity.

Get more out of your training program, and your workers, by using the Polymer Training Resources Animation Series. Give your students the advantage of a clear understanding of all internal working of the process.

Features:
  • "Zoom in" for close up of machine functions
  • Slow motion to encourage greater understanding
    of the process.
  • Stop and restart motion to focus on important
parts of the machine and the process
  • Part labeling for quick and easy identification

The Polymer Training Resources Animation Series shows key components of an injection molding machine, and how they work during the machine cycle.

For Example:

The Hopper, Feed Throat, and Barrel:

You can actually see the plastic pellets fall through the feed throat into the barrel. Watch the pellets mix and melt, and move down the barrel, as the screw rotates. Your workers will actually see what is going on inside the barrel.

The Screw Tip:

Show your workers a close-up, moving version of the screw tip as it functions inside the barrel. With this animation, your workers will be able to understand how the check ring presses against the scat to stop the melt from returning up the screw flights.

The Clamp:

Watch the whole clamp open and close sequence. In this virtual environment, there are no safety guards to impede your workers vision, and they're able to see the dynamics of this cycle.
